Known Issues / Workarounds
1.
Setting Threshold : For raising alerts, thresholds on metrics for a
particular application could be set through the insideApps Server
console. There is provision for setting both the
warning
and critical threshold values. At this point both these
values
have to be specified for the system to take in these values.
Please make sure the comparator (first field) is set to desired value, click on "Save" button and then click the
"Apply" button to activate the alerts.
2.
Agent Memory Leak: By default
the Method Call Tree (MCT) feature is
enabled. With some applications on BEA
Weblogic, we
have seen the memory foot print of the insideApps Agent grow. If
you encounter this
behaviour, disable the MCT feature and restart the insideApps
Agent. For disabling the MCT feature, please use insideApps server
console's Edit Configuration feature. Make sure to restart the
monitored application server for the change to take effect.
3.
Console
View: If you encounter inconsistent data or loss of
metrics
or transaction information in the insideApps Server console,
please go back to the dashboard view by clicking on the
"Home"
link on the top right side of the UI page. This will purge the cached
information and you will be able to view the latest transactions and
metrics by drilling down from that layer.
